What is Arc?
Arc is a scoring platform that tracks your building’s performance across five categories: energy, water, waste, transportation and human experience. The Arc team has generated an estimated energy score by analyzing the information you’ve submitted to meet the ECAD ordinance requirements along with estimated building occupancy values. Of the 3,100 buildings reporting data in Austin, 2,700 buildings had viable data required to generate a score, including energy usage data (either kWh/sqft or Site EUI in kBTU/sqft) and total floor area of the building. Based on these assumptions, a significant number of buildings would meet the energy performance prerequisite for LEED v4.1 O+M.
